Transfer of Employees in Discretionary Assignments Initiated by the Employer. Subject to the notice requirements of this Article 17, the Employer may, as it deems necessary, transfer an employee serving in a Discretionary Assignment to any Bid or Discretionary Assignment. The Department agrees that, upon the request of an employee, it will advise the employee of the reason for such action.

  • Re-employment After Voluntary Termination or Dismissal for Cause Where an employee voluntarily leaves the Employer's service, or is dismissed for cause and is later re-engaged, seniority and all perquisites shall date only from the time of re-employment, according to regulations applying to new employees.

  • Transfer of Employees 4.16 At least three (3) regular work days' notice shall be given to the Union and the employees before workers are transferred from one reporting headquarters to another reporting headquarters. Employees employed in a Long Term Supply Assignment which is less than the ordinary period of employment for the position shall have their sick leave and short term disability allocations pro-rated accordingly. Where the length of the long term supply assignment is not known in advance, a projected length must be determined at the start of the assignment in order for the appropriate allocation of sick leave/short term disability leave to occur. If a change is made to the length of the assignment, an adjustment will be made to the allocation and applied retroactively.

  • Restricted Employment for Certain State Personnel Contractor acknowledges that, pursuant to Section 572.069 of the Texas Government Code, a former state officer or employee of a state agency who during the period of state service or employment participated on behalf of a state agency in a procurement or contract negotiation involving Contractor may not accept employment from Contractor before the second anniversary of the date the Contract is signed or the procurement is terminated or withdrawn.
