TRADE CONTRACTOR WARRANTIES. Where any work is performed by Trade Contractors under subcontract with the XXXX, the XXXX and the Trade Contractor respectively shall warrant that all materials and equipment included in such work will be new and that such work will be of good quality, Workmanship, and materials, and in conformance with the Construction Documents. With respect to the same work the XXXX further agrees to have all work found by the CITY to be defective in material or Workmanship or not in conformance with the Construction Documents corrected by the appropriate Trade Contractor for a period of one (1) year from the date of Substantial Completion of the PROJECT or for such longer periods of time as may be set forth with respect to specific warranties contained in the trade sections of the specifications. The XXXX shall collect and deliver to the CITY REPRESENTATIVE any specific written warranties given by others as required by the Construction Documents. Also, the XXXX shall conduct, jointly with the CITY REPRESENTATIVE and the ENGINEER, a warranty inspection nine (9) months after the date of Substantial Completion of the PROJECT and corrective action shall immediately be accomplished by the Trade Contractors as supervised by the XXXX.
