Common use of Term and Reopening Negotiations Clause in Contracts

Term and Reopening Negotiations. This Master Contract shall remain in full force and effect for a period commencing on July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2021, and thereafter until modifications are made pursuant to PELRA. If either party desires to modify or amend this Master Contract commencing on July 1, 2019, it shall give written notice of such intent no later than May 1, 2021, but not prior to March 1, 2021. Parties to this Master Contract agree to commence negotiations for a successor contract no later than 20 days after receipt of said written notice, except as may be modified by the State Director of Mediation Services.
