Opening Negotiations. 4.2.1 Between April 1 and April 30 of each ensuing year, either the Association or the Board shall submit a written request for negotiations to commence to the other party, if it desires there to be negotiations for that year. If no such request is made during the time period above, negotiations will not take place for the ensuing year.
Opening Negotiations. Upon a request of either party for a meeting to open negotiations, a mutually acceptable meeting date shall be set not more than 15 days following such request. In any given school year, such request shall be made on or before December 1 or at a mutually agreed upon date thereafter. Issues can be submitted for discussion, by either party, no later than February 1 or at a mutually agreed upon date thereafter, and will be placed on the agenda after issues submitted at the first meeting have been discussed. Any additional issue can be considered out of sequence on agreement of both parties.

If no such request is made during the time period above, negotiations will not take place for the ensuing year. In the duration of this Agreement, both parties may mutually agree to reopen negotiations to review intent and/or clarify language.
Opening Negotiations. Negotiations sessions shall be conducted in locations suitable to both parties and shall be at such times as mutually agreed upon. All negotiation sessions shall be open to the public and notice of such meetings published at the earliest times possible prior to the scheduled meetings (33-1273).
Opening Negotiations. On or before December 1, 2019, the Board and the Association will begin collective negotiations in a good faith effort to reach a successor Agreement.
Opening Negotiations. The superintendent shall call a meeting of the committee when requested to do so by the board or employee organization. The committee shall organize and meet as is necessary to conclude the negotiations process.

When the parties, in any particular year, choose to utilize a collaborative, Interest-Based Bargaining process, the parties shall mutually exchange a list of negotiation issues, including a brief explanation of each issue, on a mutually agreeable date as provided in this section. Subsequent proposals/issues may only be submitted upon mutual agreement of the parties. All Board proposals for negotiations shall be presented in writing at the second meeting. All meetings shall be held outside the teaching day if possible, at times and places mutually agreed to and shall not exceed three hours unless extended by mutual agreement. If meetings are held during the teaching day, the negotiators shall be released from their regular duties without loss of pay.

The Association and the Board shall submit all of their negotiations proposals at the first session. Subsequent proposals may only be submitted upon mutual agreement of the parties. Any non-monetary articles that are not opened for negotiations shall remain unchanged for the ensuing school year. For the 2000-200 I school year negotiations, the parties may address only issues contained in Article VII Fringe Benefits, Article VIII Compensation , and corresponding compensation schedules contained in the Appendix . Sections of the contract requiring editorial changes (e.g., date changes and innovative programs) may also be opened. A mutually acceptable meeting date to begin bargaining shall be set no more than thirty (30) calendar days from the date of proposal change.
Opening Negotiations. The respective spokesperson for the District and the Association shall establish the procedures for the exchange of proposals. This exchange will take place by April 15 of the last year of the Agreement.
Opening Negotiations. Negotiations between the Board and the Association for a successor Contract shall begin on or about February 1st of the final year of this Contract. Between January 15th and January 31st of that year, the President of the Association shall contact the Superintendent of Schools to establish a date, place, and time to meet. Such agreement shall be followed by a written request to begin negotiations as per the oral agreement reached by the Association’s President and the Superintendent.
