If Franchisor and Franchisee do not enter into a successor franchise agreement, but Franchisee continues to operate the Franchised Business after the end of the Term with Franchisor’s consent, then that will be considered a temporary extension of this Agreement, which extension Franchisor is permitted to discontinue at any time and for any reason upon thirty (30) days’ written notice. If Franchisor discontinues that extension, the discontinuation will be considered a non-renewal of this Agreement and not a termination. If Franchisor does not consent to Franchisee’s continued operation of the Franchised Business after the end of the Term, then this Agreement will be expire at the end of the Term and under no circumstances will Franchisee continue to operate the Franchised Business.
