Successor Agency and Housing Successor Functions. Civic shall provide staffing and services to support and carry out the necessary functions of City in its role as Successor Agency and Housing Successor. Civic shall take all steps necessary and desirable by City to perform the functions required to implement the winding down of redevelopment and/or completion of the projects of the Former Agency and to manage the assets of the Former Agency, in accordance with the Dissolution Law, the review and decisions of the Oversight Board, the direction of City as Successor Agency and Housing Successor, and approved funding. The work performed by Civic under this section is generally funded through the administrative or project budgets in the ROPS effective at the time services are performed, other funding mechanisms made available through the Dissolution Law, or other non-General Fund sources such as Community Development Block Grants and SANDAG grants, and not through City’s General Fund. City shall not be liable to Civic for the cost of Successor Agency- or Housing Successor-related work performed or services provided unless otherwise specifically authorized by the City Council.   • GOVERNMENTAL FUNCTIONS 1. Remuneration, including pensions, paid by, or out of funds created by, one of the States or a political subdivision or a local authority thereof to any individual in respect of services rendered to that State or subdivision or local authority thereof in the discharge of functions of a governmental nature may be taxed in that State.

  • Governmental Function In accordance with C.G.S. § 1-218, if the amount of this Contract exceeds two million five hundred thousand dollars ($2,500,000), and the Contractor is a "person" performing a "governmental function", as those terms are defined in C.G.S. § 1 200(4) and (11), the Agency is entitled to receive a copy of the Records and files related to the Contractor's performance of the governmental function, which may be disclosed by the Agency pursuant to the FOIA.

  • Mixed Functions An employee engaged for more than two hours during one day or shift on duties carrying a higher rate than his or her ordinary classification shall be paid the higher rate for such day or shift. If for two hours or less during one day or shift he or she shall be paid the higher rate for the time so worked.

  • Primary Function (a) The primary function of the troubleshooter shall be to address concerns of bargaining unit employees who seek a determination of their employment status (an employee of regular status or an employee of auxiliary status) pursuant to the terms of this Collective Agreement.

  • Review by the World Bank of Procurement Decisions The Procurement Plan shall set forth those contracts which shall be subject to the World Bank’s Prior Review. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the World Bank.

  • Monitoring by the Department The Contractor shall permit all persons who are duly authorized by the Department to inspect and copy any records, papers, documents, facilities, goods, and services of the Contractor that are relevant to this Contract, and to interview clients, employees, and sub-contractor employees of the Contractor to assure the Department of satisfactory performance of the terms and conditions of this Contract. Following such review, the Department shall deliver to the Contractor a written report of its finding, and may direct the development, by the Contractor, of a corrective action plan. This provision shall not limit the Department’s termination rights.

  • MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS B-1 The Association recognizes that the management of the Hospital and the direction of the working forces are fixed exclusively in the Hospital and shall remain solely with the Hospital except as specifically limited by the provisions of this Agreement, and without restricting the generality of the foregoing, the Association acknowledges that it is the exclusive function of the Hospital to:
