Common use of Single Shifts Clause in Contracts

Single Shifts. A. Eight (8) consecutive hours, exclusive of a thirty (30) minute unpaid meal period between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:30 pm shall constitute a single shift. There shall be no staggering of starting times for employees working on the same project, area, or location.

Single Shifts. A. Eight A) Seven (8) 7) consecutive hours, exclusive of a thirty (30) minute unpaid meal period between the hours of 7:00 6:00 am and 4:30 pm 5:00 pm, shall constitute a single shiftshift for which eight (8) times the straight-time hourly rate shall be paid. Thirty-five (35) hours, Monday 7:00 am through Friday 5:00 pm, shall constitute a week’s work. There shall be no staggering of starting times for employees Employees working on the same project, area, or location.
