Common use of Single Shifts Clause in Contracts

Single Shifts. Eight (8) consecutive hours, exclusive of meal period, between 6:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., shall constitute a day’s work, for which eight (8) hours straight-time at the applicable rate shall be paid. Forty (40) hours, Monday 6:00 A.M. through Friday 5:00 P.M., shall constitute a week’s work.

Single Shifts. 1602.1 Eight (8) consecutive hours, exclusive of meal period, between 6:00 5:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., P.M. shall constitute a day’s work, for which eight (8) hours straight-time at the applicable rate shall be paid. Forty (40) hours, Monday 6:00 5:00 A.M. through Friday 5:00 P.M., shall constitute a week’s work provided that if the starting time is changed during the course of the work, notification shall be furnished to the Local Union in the jurisdiction where the work is being performed twenty-four (24) hours in advance.

Eight (8) consecutive hours, hours exclusive of meal lunch period, between 6:00 A.M. 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 P.M., 4:30 p.m. shall constitute a day’s work, for which eight (8) hours straight-time at the applicable rate shall be paid. Forty (40) hours, Monday 6:00 A.M. Monday, 4:30 a.m. through Friday 5:00 P.M.Friday, 4:30 p.m., shall constitute a week’s work.

Single Shifts.
