Shift Worker Rostered Off on a Public Holiday. An employee on shift work or an employee whose ordinary daily hours of duty are rostered to be performed on any of the days of the week and who is rostered off on any of the abovementioned holidays shall, as agreed between the employee and their manager, either: • Be paid an additional days pay at the ordinary rate; or • Be credited with a days leave in lieu thereof, to be taken at a mutually convenient time.

  • Public Holiday Work (a) For Employees other than Shiftworkers, double time and a half must be paid for any Public Holiday Work with a minimum payment of four hours.

  • State of California Public Liability and Workers’ Compensation Program A. The Judicial Council has elected to be self-insured for its motor vehicle, aircraft liability and general liability exposures.

  • Pay for Holidays Worked (a) When an employee is required to work on a designated holiday, the employee shall be paid compensation, or given compensatory time off, for such work at the rate of time and one-half the employee’s regular rate of pay, in addition to regular pay received for all hours worked for the holiday.
