  • Unbundled Voice Loops (UVLs) 2.2.1 BellSouth shall make available the following UVLs:

  • DS3 Loop DS3 Loop is a two-point digital transmission path which provides for simultaneous two-way transmission of serial, bipolar, return-to-zero isochronous digital electrical signals at a transmission rate of 44.736 megabits per second (Mbps) that is dedicated to the use of the ordering CLEC in its provisioning of local exchange and associated exchange access services. It may provide transport for twenty-eight (28) DS1 channels, each of which provides the digital equivalent of twenty-four (24) analog voice grade channels. The interface to unbundled dedicated DS3 transport is a metallic-based electrical interface.

  • Significant Customers and Suppliers No customer or supplier which was significant to the Company during the period covered by the Financial Statements or which has been significant to the Company thereafter, has terminated or breached, materially reduced or threatened to terminate, breach or materially reduce its purchases from or provision of products or services to the Company, as the case may be.

  • Unbundled Copper Loop – Non-Designed (UCL-ND The UCL–ND is provisioned as a dedicated 2-wire metallic transmission facility from BellSouth’s Main Distribution Frame (MDF) to a customer’s premises (including the NID). The UCL-ND will be a “dry copper” facility in that it will not have any intervening equipment such as load coils, repeaters, or digital access main lines (DAMLs), and may have up to 6,000 feet of bridged tap between the End User’s premises and the serving wire center. The UCL-ND typically will be 1300 Ohms resistance and in most cases will not exceed 18,000 feet in length, although the UCL-ND will not have a specific length limitation. For Loops less than 18,000 feet and with less than 1300 Ohms resistance, the Loop will provide a voice grade transmission channel suitable for Loop start signaling and the transport of analog voice grade signals. The UCL-ND will not be designed and will not be provisioned with either a DLR or a test point.

Louisville Telephone may also order OC-TS when a specified conversion time is requested. OC-TS is a chargeable option for any coordinated order and is billed in addition to the OC charge. An Engineering Information (EI) document can be ordered as chargeable option. The EI document provides loop make up information which is similar to the information normally provided in a Design Layout Record. Upon issuance of a non-coordinated order in the service order system, SL1 loops will be activated on the due date in the same manner and time frames that BellSouth normally activates POTS-type loops for its end users.
