Section 1417. 39 In the case of any on-the-job disability which is covered by industrial insurance under the 40 Xxxxxxx’x Compensation Trust through ESD 112, the employer will pay to such disabled 41 employee, out of his or her accumulated sick leave, an allowance equal to the difference 42 between the xxxxxxx’x compensation benefits and the employee’s regular straight time gross 43 pay, less statutory deductions, beginning at the time of disability and continuing until the 44 accumulated sick leave entitlement is completely expended. After exhausting paid sick leave, 45 employees have the option of using other available paid leave to supplement xxxxxxx’x 46 compensation benefits.
