Scope of Conflict of Interest. a) An actual or potential conflict of interest arises when a Member is in a situation where his personal, financial or professional interests conflict or appear to conflict with his responsibilities to the University. A Member is also deemed to be in an actual or potential conflict of interest when an immediate family member or a person in a current or recent intimate relationship with the Member has personal, financial, or professional interests that conflict or appear to conflict with the Member’s responsibilities to the University.
