School/District Closings. The Superintendent or his/her designee determines when conditions warrant the partial or complete closing of a facility(ies), function(s) or the District. The Superintendent shall determine which positions and/or classifications shall be released from duty. Closing or partial closings may be for an entire shift or a portion thereof.

School/District Closings. If an employee schedules leave (i.e. vacation, personal, sick, etc.) and the school closes (for school-year employees) or the district closes (for 12-month employees) due to weather or an emergency, the employee will not be charged with that leave time.

  • School Closings In the event of any school closing, employees will report for duty only if so requested by an appropriate supervisor. Employees requested to report for duty will be compensated by receiving an alternative day off agreed upon with their supervisor.
