Common use of SCHEDULE OF WORK Clause in Contracts

SCHEDULE OF WORK. The ARCHITECT shall commence work under this Agreement upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed and shall prosecute the work diligently as described in Exhibit "A," so as to proceed with and complete the work in compliance with the schedule in Exhibit "C.” Time is of the essence and failure of ARCHITECT to perform work on time as specified in this Agreement is a material breach of this Agreement. In no event shall the Architect be responsible for delays incurred by the District, Construction Managers or other agencies not directly under the Architect’s direction.
