Salary Placement/Adjustments. 2 A. New hires will be placed on the salary schedule according to their law 3 school graduation year. The Employer may increase placement for 4 recruitment reasons. The Employer will inform the Union in writing when 5 such recruitment and/or retention increases are granted.

However, an increased step placement for new hires will not ordinarily be approved absent compelling recruitment needs. New hires placed at a higher step than their graduation year will receive a one (1) step increase to base salary annually on their annual increase date until they reach the top step of the salary range. Such an increase may not result in a salary greater than the maximum step of the salary range.

  • Salary Placement Entry-level placement on the salary schedule shall be at the lowest step of the schedule for the classification or at the hourly rate established for the classification, unless the District authorizes hiring at a higher rate.

  • Subsequent Adjustments In the event that the Assuming Institution or the Receiver discovers any errors or omissions as contemplated by Section 8.2 or any error with respect to the payment made under Section 8.3 after the Settlement Date, the Assuming Institution and the Receiver agree to promptly correct any such errors or omissions, make any payments and effect any transfers or assumptions as may be necessary to reflect any such correction plus interest as provided in Section 8.4.

  • Initial Salary Placement Step Upon initial employment by the District, child Development Teachers and Family Services Leads shall be given up to 7 years of credit for prior experience in a full-time teaching position with a State or Federally funded program, where the number of days worked in any given school year were in excess of 135.   • Salary Adjustments At any time during the term of this Contract, the Board may, in its discretion, review and adjust the salary of the Superintendent, but in no event shall the Superintendent be paid less than the salary set forth in Section 3.1 of this Contract except by mutual agreement of the two parties.
