SALARY DEDUCTIONS FOR ABSENCE WITHOUT PAY Sample Clauses

SALARY DEDUCTIONS FOR ABSENCE WITHOUT PAY. When an academic employee whose compensation is based upon the regular academic employee salary schedule is absent for reasons which do not justify the use of any of the forms of authorized leave with pay, a fraction of the employee’s annual salary will be deducted. The fraction will be the number of days absent divided by the number of days in the teaching year.
