Salaries, wages and similar remuneration derived by a resident of Singapore in respect of an employment connected with the exploration or exploitation of the seabed and subsoil and their natural resources situated in Ireland may, to the extent that the duties are performed offshore in Ireland, be taxed in Ireland. However, such remuneration shall be taxable only in Singapore if the employment is carried on offshore for an employer who is not a resident of Ireland and for a period or periods not exceeding in the aggregate 30 days in any twelve- month period.

Salaries, wages and similar remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment exercised aboard a ship or aircraft engaged in the transportation of supplies or personnel to a location, or between locations, where activities connected with the exploration or exploitation of the seabed and subsoil and their natural resources are being carried on in the other Contracting State, or in respect of an employment exercised aboard a tugboat and other vessels operated auxiliary to such activities, may be taxed in the Contracting State of which the enterprise carrying on the activities is a resident. The provisions of this subparagraph shall apply only when such ships, vessels or aircraft are operated in international traffic.

  • SALARIES AND WAGES Contractor and any subcontractors must pay all salaries and wages due all employees performing Services under this Contract unconditionally and at least once a month without deduction or rebate on any account, except only for those payroll deductions that are mandatory by law or are permitted under applicable law and regulations. If in the performance of this Contract Contractor underpays any such salaries or wages, the Comptroller for the City may withhold, out of payments due to Contractor, an amount sufficient to pay to employees underpaid the difference between the salaries or wages required to be paid under this Agreement and the salaries or wages actually paid these employees for the total number of hours worked. The amounts withheld may be disbursed by the Comptroller for and on account of Contractor to the respective employees to whom they are due. The parties acknowledge that this paragraph is solely for the benefit of the City and that it does not grant any third party beneficiary rights.

  • Wages and Classification Premiums Provisions under these headings shall remain unchanged and are repeated as 20.04, except to the extent that the Wage Schedule referred to in the hospital's expiring collective agreement shall be adjusted and retroactivity shall be paid in accordance with the Implementation Agreement signed.
