Requesting dispute resolution Sample Clauses
The 'Requesting dispute resolution' clause outlines the process by which parties can formally initiate procedures to resolve disagreements arising under the contract. Typically, this clause specifies the steps required to notify the other party of a dispute, such as providing written notice and identifying the issues in contention. It may also set out timelines for response and escalation, for example, requiring initial negotiation before moving to mediation or arbitration. The core function of this clause is to ensure that disputes are addressed in an orderly and predictable manner, reducing uncertainty and helping parties resolve conflicts efficiently without immediately resorting to litigation.
