Common use of REPORTING TIME PAY Clause in Contracts

REPORTING TIME PAY. If an employee reports for work on any work day and is not put to work on that day, he shall be paid two (2) hours pay for reporting to work unless he has been previously notified not to report to work. In order to be paid the reporting pay, the employee must report to work at the starting time of the shift and be available for work and remain on the jobsite up to two (2) hours, unless released by the Employer. Employees who commence work shall be guaranteed two (2) hours pay and after the second hour shall be paid for actual time worked. An employee being paid under these circumstances may be required by the Employer to remain on the job for the length of the time for which he is paid. It shall be the responsibility of the employee to furnish to the Employer the telephone number at which the employee may be called regarding reporting to work.
