Common use of REPORTING TIME PAY Clause in Contracts

REPORTING TIME PAY. A. After a person has been hired and ordered to report to work at the regular starting time and no work is provided for him on the day he has so reported, he shall receive pay equivalent to two (2) hours at the rate applicable for that day. This pay shall not be provided if he has subsequently been ordered not to report for work on that particular day. If the person has been working regularly and the employer has failed to notify him not to report for work before leaving his residence he shall be entitled to two (2) hours reporting time pay at the applicable rate for that day.
