Rejection of Responses, Modification of RFS. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all responses if the Owner determines, within its own discretion, that it is in the Owner’s best interests to do so. This RFS does not commit the Owner to select any Respondent, award any contract, pay any costs in preparing a response, or procure a contract for any services. The Owner also reserves the right to cancel or modify this RFS in part or in its entirety, or to change the RFS guidelines. A Respondent may not alter the RFS or its components.

  • EFFECTIVE DATE AND NOTICE OF NONLIABILITY This Agreement shall not be effective or enforceable until it is approved and signed by the State Controller or its designee (hereinafter called the “Effective Date”), but shall be effective and enforceable thereafter in accordance with its provisions. Employees who decline recall or who, in the absence of extenuating circumstances, fail to respond within the time set for return to work, shall be presumed to have resigned and their name shall be removed from the seniority and preferred eligibility list.

  • Effect of Addenda, Bulletins, and Change Orders No special implication, interpretation, construction, connotation, denotation, import, or meaning shall be assigned to any provision of the Contract Documents because of changes created by the issuance of any (1) Addendum, (2) Bulletin, or (3) Change Order other than the precise meaning that the Contract Documents would have had if the provision thus created had read originally as it reads subsequent to the (1) Addendum, (2) Bulletin, or (3) Change Order by which it was created.

  • Request for clarification of the report 1. Within 10 days of the release of the report, either of the disputing Parties may submit a written request to the Panel, a copy of which shall be sent to the other Party, for clarification of any items the Party considers requires further explanation or definition. 2. The Panel shall respond to the request within 10 days following the submission of such request. The clarification of the Panel shall only be a more precise explanation or definition of the original contents of the report, and not an amendment of such report. 3. The filing of this request for clarification will not postpone the effect of the Panel report nor the deadline for compliance of the adopted decision, unless the Panel decides otherwise.

  • Form and substance of requests for assistance 1. Requests pursuant to this Protocol shall be made in writing. They shall be accompanied by the documents necessary to enable compliance with the request. When required because of the urgency of the situation, oral requests may be accepted, but must be confirmed in writing immediately.

  • Request for Waiver A. Prior to submission of a request for a partial or total waiver, Bidder/Contractor shall speak to the Designated Contacts of the OGS Office of Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises for guidance.

  • Execution of requests 1. In order to comply with a request for assistance, the requested authority shall proceed, within the limits of its competence and available resources, as though it were acting on its own account or at the request of other authorities of that same Party, by supplying information already possessed, by carrying out appropriate enquiries or by arranging for them to be carried out. This provision shall also apply to the administrative department to which the request has been addressed by the requested authority when the latter cannot act on its own.
