The DESIGNER SERVICES clause defines the scope and nature of the services that the designer is expected to provide under the agreement. Upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed from the Awarding Authority acceptable to the Designer, the Designer shall meet as necessary within the Awarding Authority and shall prepare and submit programs, preliminary reports, master plans, studies, sketches, space utilization criteria and estimates in accordance with the Scope of Services set forth in Attachment A to this AGREEMENT. Monthly progress reports shall be submitted by the Designer to the Awarding Authority. The Designer shall prepare and submit concept sketches of various design ideas to determine a workable plan solution in terms of the programs, funds available, and as complete an overall design concept as possible, including cost estimates. The Designer shall furnish to the Awarding Authority eight (8) copies of the report for final approval on or before the date set forth in the Notice to Proceed or any supplement thereto. 6.2 TYPE 2 CONTRACTS -- DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

Upon receipt of a Notice to Proceed from the Awarding Authority acceptable to the Designer, the Designer shall meet as necessary with the Awarding Authority and shall prepare and submit programs, preliminary reports, master plans, studies, sketches, space utilization criteria and estimates in accordance with the Scope of Services set forth in Attachment A to this AGREEMENT. Monthly progress reports shall be submitted by the Designer to the Awarding Authority. The Designer shall prepare and submit concept sketches of various rooms, special arrangements, and design ideas to determine a workable plan solution in terms of the programs, funds available, and as complete an overall building program for individual department as well as a consolidated Public Safety Complex, including an estimate of probable cost.
