Relief Assignments 3.1 All possible regular relief assignments with five days work per week and two consecutive rest days (subject to Rule 2) shall be established to perform necessary relief work or to perform relief work on certain days and such types of other work on other days as may be assigned under this Agreement.
Assignment of the Contract The Contractor shall not sell, transfer, assign, or otherwise dispose of the Contract or any portion thereof or of any right, title, or interest therein without prior written consent of the Division. Any such purported assignment or transfer shall be void. If approved, any assignee shall be subject to all terms and conditions of this Contract and other supplemental contractual documents. No approval by the Division of any assignment may be deemed to obligate the Division beyond the provisions of this Contract. This provision includes reassignment of the Contract due to change in ownership of the Contractor. The Division shall at all times be entitled to assign or transfer its rights, duties, and/or obligations under this Contract to another governmental agency in the State of Mississippi upon giving prior written notice to the Contractor.
Training Assignments The Supervisor or designee may establish written training assignments to enable an employee to gain the additional experience and training required for the job for a period of time not to exceed two years. At the completion of the training assignment, the employee’s pay will be set no less than the entry rate of pay for the occupational pay band.
Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.
Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.
SUBLET/ASSIGNMENT The Lessee may not transfer or assign this Lease, or any right or interest hereunder or sublet said leased Premises or any part thereof without first obtaining the prior written consent and approval of the Lessor.
SPECIAL TEACHING ASSIGNMENTS A. Assignments for the Adult Education, Driver Education and Summer School Program will be made by the Board on the basis of preference to teachers possessing permanent teaching certificates regularly employed in the district during the normal school year.
Duration of Assignments Consideration must be given to the health and safety of personnel when assigned to fires of long duration. It is agreed that duration of assignments is dictated by each Party’s policy. Extension of assignments beyond the Supporting Party’s policy may be requested. It is the responsibility of the Protecting Party to request relief personnel in advance of the Supporting Party’s policy time limit. The Protecting Party is further responsible for the transportation costs of moving personnel to the fire and returning those relieved personnel back to their home stations. In all cases, the Department and Forest Service agree that their Incident Commanders will release suppression resources to their primary mission responsibilities as soon as priorities allow. The National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) has established guidelines for the length of assignments for resources and personnel who accept out of state assignments. Personnel who accept assignments out of the state are expected to adhere to the guidelines identified by NWCG. For incidents within the state, there is a required 7 day minimum commitment. Both Parties agree to honor the minimum length of assignments guidelines.
Teaching Assignment For teaching faculty, the teaching assignment will be one or a combination of programs, courses, or student originated studies offerings (all of which are collectively referred to as “academic offerings” below). For full-time faculty the normal teaching assignment will be a program. For part-time faculty the normal assignment is either a program and/or course(s), depending on the terms of their contract. In addition, faculty may support individual learning contracts.
ASSIGNMENT/SUB-CONTRACTING The Contractor agrees that he will not sell, assign or transfer this Agreement or any part thereof or interest therein without the prior written consent of the Owner.
