REFUSAL TO GRANT LEAVE. The College may refuse to grant leaves under Section 11 where such leaves would adversely affect the operation of the department or campus to an unacceptable extent. Decisions regarding such refusals shall be made in consultation with the affected employee and such refusals shall not extend beyond one academic year.
