PROFESSIONAL STATUS TEACHERS. A teacher who has earned Professional Teacher Status and has been judged by the Principal as qualified for a remaining position, will be released only after all similarly qualified non- professional status teachers have been released. If two or more professional status teachers are judged qualified for a remaining position, the teacher with greater seniority (length of continuous service) shall be retained.

PROFESSIONAL STATUS TEACHERS. Professional status teachers will be evaluated in writing every other year. The Principal and/or his/her designee will be the primary evaluator at the elementary, middle and high schools. A teacher and/or administrator may request an individual who is otherwise employed by the District to conduct a partial evaluation in his/her area of specialty.

  • Professional Status The Superintendent affirms that he is not under contract with any other board of education covering any part or all of the term provided in this contract. Throughout the contract term, he will hold a valid and appropriate certificate to act as a superintendent of schools in the State of Nebraska which he will register and maintain on file in the school district’s central administrative office. This contract shall not be valid and the Board will not compensate the Superintendent for any service performed prior to the date that he registers his certificate.

  • Professional Staff A. 1. This Article shall apply to all members of the unit except teaching faculty, librarians, Demonstration Teachers and Demonstration Specialists — A.

  • Professional Study Permanent unit members may apply for professional study leave by outlining in writing the plan that is to be followed and the institution to be attended. In addition, a clear statement must be included in the request indicating the need for educational study and the potential value to the District upon completion of such study.   • Travel Status Leave (a) An employee who is required to travel outside his or her headquarters area on government business, as these expressions are defined by the Employer, and is away from his or her permanent residence for forty (40) nights during a fiscal year shall be granted fifteen (15) hours off with pay. The employee shall be credited with an additional seven decimal five (7.5) hours off for each additional twenty (20) nights that the employee is away from his or her permanent residence to a maximum of sixty (60) nights.

  • Emeritus Status Emeritus designation shall be bestowed upon a retiring member of the full-time faculty upon recommendation of the department and approval by the President. Emeriti shall be afforded at least the following privileges: desk space if available, university computer account, library privileges, catalog listing, a printed certificate, professional use of the title, invitations to university functions, course privileges available pursuant to Article 13.13, faculty parking privileges and inclusion on the mailing lists for all university publications.

  • Travel Status Employees eligible for relocation expenses pursuant to Section 1 shall be considered to be in travel status up to a maximum of ninety (90) calendar days and shall be allowed standard travel expenses, by mutual agreement of the Appointing Authority and the employee, either to: 1) be lodged at their new work station and to return to their original work station once a week; or 2) travel between their original work station and their new work station on a daily basis. Standard travel expenses for the employee's spouse shall be borne by the Appointing Authority for a maximum of two (2) trips not to exceed a total of seven (7) calendar days during the ninety (90) calendar day period.

  • Professional Standards The Contractor agrees to maintain the professional standards applicable to its profession and to Contractors doing business in the United States Virgin Islands.

  • Professional Service Consultant agrees that all services and work performed under this agreement will be accomplished in a professional manner, in accordance with the accepted standards of Contractor’s profession.

  • Legal Status Borrower is a corporation, duly organized and existing and in good standing under the laws of Delaware, and is qualified or licensed to do business (and is in good standing as a foreign corporation, if applicable) in all jurisdictions in which such qualification or licensing is required or in which the failure to so qualify or to be so licensed could have a material adverse effect on Borrower.

  • PROFESSIONAL NEGOTIATIONS A. Not later than March 1 of the calendar year in which this Agreement expires, the Association and the District will begin negotiations for a successor Agreement. Any Agreement so negotiated will apply to all teachers, and will be reduced to writing and signed by the District and the Association.
