Professional Development Plan (PDP. Within thirty (30) school days after the completion of an evaluation rating a tenured teacher as “needs improvement,” a district evaluator shall develop, in consultation with the teacher, and taking into account the teacher's on-going professional responsibilities including his or her regular teaching assignments, a professional development plan directed to the areas that need improvement and indicating any supports that the district will provide to address the areas identified as needing improvement. The plan will be conducted in accordance with the PDP Guidelines attached to this Agreement as Appendix C. Failure to complete the plan will not affect the employee’s rating. Completion of the plan shall be taken into consideration when the employee is evaluated in the year following the rating of “needs improvement.” See the “Tenured Employee Professional Development Plan Guidelines” Appendix C.
