Common use of Prior Experience Credit Clause in Contracts

Prior Experience Credit. Newly hired secretaries may be granted up to five (5) years credit for comparable, verified, full-time work experience. One (1) year of prior experience credit may be awarded for every two (2) years of validated prior full-time experience. Credit may be awarded for up to five (5) years with a maximum placement on step 6. The District shall notify the IPCA President of any new hires receiving prior experience credit.
