Common use of Presence of Union Xxxxxxx at Meeting Clause in Contracts

Presence of Union Xxxxxxx at Meeting. An employee may request that a Union Xxxxxxx be present at a meeting with management where the Employer expects to be seeking information from the employee that could lead to disciplinary action against the employee. Such requests will not be unreasonably denied. Arrangements for the attendance of a Xxxxxxx at such meetings shall be made in accordance with Article 13.03(b). Where management intends to interview an employee for disciplinary purposes, management shall notify the employee in advance of the purpose and reasons for the interview, in order that the employee may contact a Xxxxxxx, provided that this does not result in an undue delay of the appropriate action being taken.
