Contract Negotiation Meetings. Upon reasonable notification, the Employer shall grant leave with pay for five (5) employees for the purpose of attending contract negotiations on behalf of the Union for the duration of such negotiations.

The Employer agrees that while employees are attending contract negotiation meetings, the Employer shall continue any fringe benefit contributions and employees shall continue to earn any applicable credits.
Contract Negotiation Meetings. Where operational requirements permit, four (4) employees will be granted leave with pay to attend contract negotiation meetings on behalf of the Association. The Association shall pay substitute employee costs incurred as a result of these meetings.
