Port Not Liable for Employment Issues. Nothing contained in this Permit shall be deemed or construed by the parties hereto or by any third party as creating an employment, agency, joint venture or partnership relationship between Port and Permittee. All employment arrangements and labor agreements are, therefore, solely Permittee’s rights, obligations and liabilities, and Port shall have no obligations or liability with respect thereto. Permittee shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Port from any claims or causes of action of whatever nature that may be brought by present or former employees, present or former independent contractors, present or former labor unions, including any labor unions seeking to represent the employees or applicants for employment by Permittee.

Permittee and Permittee’s authorized sublicensees shall defend, indemnify, and hold Port harmless from any claims or causes of action of whatever nature that may be brought by present or former employees, present or former independent contractors, or present or former labor unions, including any labor unions seeking to represent the employees or applicants for employment by Permittee or any of its authorized sublicensees.

  • Application for Employment Employee understands and agrees that, as a condition of this Agreement, Employee shall not be entitled to any employment with the Company, and Employee hereby waives any right, or alleged right, of employment or re-employment with the Company. Employee further agrees not to apply for employment with the Company and not otherwise pursue an independent contractor or vendor relationship with the Company.

  • EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIPS The ORGANIZATION, its employees, volunteers or agents performing under this Agreement are not deemed to be employees of the COUNTY, nor volunteers or agents of the COUNTY in any manner whatsoever.   • Employment Relationship Employment with the Company is for no specific period of time. Your employment with the Company will be “at will,” meaning that either you or the Company may terminate your employment at any time and for any reason, with or without cause. Any contrary representations that may have been made to you are superseded by this letter agreement. This is the full and complete agreement between you and the Company on this term.
