PLC System Software. The system shall use digital techniques in order to achieve fail-safe control of the process operation. Additionally the design shall provide for logical grouping of process information to allow faster process condition recognition. Operator selection of control parameters and alarm windows shall be by trackball or mouse. Configuration modifications may be carried out on line. The operator displays shall be LCD. System status display selection capability and continuous system alarm monitoring shall be provided on the operator console. The system shall be simple and flexible with regard to re-configuration of loop connection and display formats to suit changes in operational requirements. The system must have the capability to be totally reconfigured on-site with the hardware and software system supplied. Dynamic data display on CRT shall have an update time of 1 second or less. Controller’s response (time interval between input change and new output) shall be within 1 second. Commands from the console to activate field devices shall be accomplished with 0.5 second. Alarm inputs shall be displayed within 1 second. Graphics call up time shall be 1 second or less. System shall include audio annunciation, display, and logging facilities for alarms. “First Out” capability shall be provided on all alarm/shutdown functions. System status display selection capability and continuous system alarm monitoring shall be provided on the operator console. Contractor shall supply integrated programming and control via the PLC for Company-supplied equipment located outside of the power plant Facility, based on Company-input logic definition with guidance from Contractor. The PLC shall require minimum maintenance and routine calibration, and shall have comprehensive self-checking calibration and self-diagnostic fault capabilities including self-test failure alarms. Comprehensive system status information shall be available for display on standard operator consoles.

  • Proprietary Software Depending upon the products and services You elect to access through Electronic Access, You may be provided software owned by BNY Mellon or licensed to BNY Mellon by a BNY Mellon Supplier (“Proprietary Software”). You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install the Proprietary Software on Your authorized computer system (including mobile devices registered with BNY Mellon) and to use the Proprietary Software solely for Your own internal purposes in connection with Electronic Access and solely for the purposes for which it is provided to You. You and Your Users may make copies of the Proprietary Software for backup purposes only, provided all copyright and other proprietary information included in the original copy of the Proprietary Software are reproduced in or on such backup copies.   • Open Source Software (i) The Company uses and has used any and all software and other materials distributed under a “free,” “open source,” or similar licensing model (including but not limited to the MIT License, Apache License, GNU General Public License, GNU Lesser General Public License and GNU Affero General Public License) (“Open Source Software”) in compliance with all license terms applicable to such Open Source Software; and (ii) the Company has not used or distributed and does not use or distribute any Open Source Software in any manner that requires or has required (A) the Company to permit reverse engineering of any software code or other technology owned by the Company or (B) any software code or other technology owned by the Company to be (1) disclosed or distributed in source code form, (2) licensed for the purpose of making derivative works or (3) redistributed at no charge.

  • USE OF THIRD PARTY SYSTEMS-LEVEL SOFTWARE State Street and the Fund acknowledge that in connection with the Data Access Services provided under this Addendum, the Fund will have access, through the Data Access Services, to Fund Data and to functions of State Street’s proprietary systems; provided, however that in no event will the Fund have direct access to any third party systems-level software that retrieves data for, stores data from, or otherwise supports the System.
