Common use of Period of Leave Clause in Contracts

Period of Leave. Except as hereinafter provided, a period of 28 consecutive days leave shall be allowed annually to an employee after twelve months' continuous service (less the period of annual leave) as an employee on weekly engagement in any one or more of the occupations to which this Agreement applies.

Period of Leave. Part time employees will accrue a proportionate entitlement to annual leave based on the number of hours worked. A loading of 17.5% will be paid on annual leave to employees covered by this Agreement appliesagreement. The loading shall not apply to proportionate leave on termination.
