Leave to be taken. 43.3.1 The annual leave provided for this clause shall be allowed and shall be taken and, except as provided by clause 43.7 or sub-clause 43.10.4 payment shall not be made or accepted in lieu of annual leave.

Annual leave shall be taken, at a time mutually agreed upon by the employer and employee, and in the absence of agreement annual leave shall be given at a time fixed by the employer, within a period not exceeding 6 months from the date when the right to annual leave accrued and after not less than 2 weeks' notice to the employee.

The YWCA Canberra recommends that each employee take a minimum of 2 continous weeks of annual leave in each calendar year to ensure appropriate opportunity for rest and recreation and to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Leave to be taken. 26.4.1 Payment in lieu of taking annual leave is not allowed except on termination of employment.

Leave to be taken. The Credit Union encourages employees to take their annual leave on a regular basis in order to promote a proper work/life balance. Other than in exceptional circumstances, the Credit Union requires all employees to take one period of leave of a least ten (10) continuous days per year.
