Payment & Scheduling of Statutory/Paid Holidays for QA Lab Employees. In recognition of item 1, the parties agree that in the interests of managing business activities and satisfying employee expectations, the Company will offer the employees two (2) options of celebrating Statutory/Paid Holidays that occur during the unpaid period of time-off, referred to in item 1. Option (A) As per Article 17.02 Paid holiday pay will be paid on the following basis:

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.

  • Compensation for Holidays Worked a. With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked. In addition, an eligible employee shall receive either compensatory time off or holiday pay at the option of the University at the regular straight- time rate, including any shift differential.

  • Pay for Holidays Worked (a) When an employee is required to work on a designated holiday, the employee shall be paid compensation, or given compensatory time off, for such work at the rate of time and one-half the employee’s regular rate of pay, in addition to regular pay received for all hours worked for the holiday.

  • Personnel Selection Leave With Pay Where an employee participates in a personnel selection process, including the appeal process where applicable, for a position in the Public Service or in the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, as defined in the Public Service Labour Relations Act, the employee is entitled to leave with pay for the period during which the employee's presence is required for purposes of the selection process, and for such further period as the Employer considers reasonable for the employee to travel to and from the place where his presence is so required.
