Payment for Working in Higher Classification. ‌ Any employee temporarily assigned work classified at a higher rate of pay shall receive such higher rate while occupying the said classification, provided the employee works more than one (1) hour in the higher classification. The shift will be offered to the senior qualified employee, the employer will not assign the shift to multiple employees, unless it cannot cover the shift in its entirety.
