Paternity/Adoption Leave. a) The Employer, upon the request of a member, and receipt of a medical certificate stating that a member's spouse is pregnant, shall grant the member one (1) day of paternity leave without loss of pay. This leave may be taken at the member's discretion, in whole or in part, during the pregnancy or following the birth of a child.
