Common use of Overtime Meal Allowances Clause in Contracts

Overtime Meal Allowances. a) When an employee is required to work a minimum of two and one-half (2 1/2) hours overtime immediately before or after completion of his/her scheduled daily hours, he/she shall be provided with a meal or shall be reimbursed in the amount equivalent to the appropriate standard meal allowance. A meal break of one-half (1/2) hour with pay will be given.
