Other Databases Clause Samples

The "Other Databases" clause defines the rights and restrictions regarding the use of databases that are not directly covered by the main agreement. Typically, this clause clarifies whether access to or use of additional databases, beyond those explicitly licensed or provided, is permitted or requires separate authorization. For example, it may specify that the licensee cannot use the software to access third-party databases unless those databases are also licensed. The core function of this clause is to prevent unauthorized use of external data sources, thereby protecting intellectual property and ensuring compliance with licensing terms.
