Observations Requested by the Adjunct Faculty Member. An adjunct faculty member may request a classroom observation and evaluation of the adjunct faculty member’s classroom performance within three (3) calendar years from the date of initial appointment, but not sooner than the second year of appointment, and then once every three (3) calendar years thereafter. Any such request shall be made no later than the second week of classes. The classroom observation will occur at any time within a two (2) week window of time agreed to by the University and the adjunct faculty member. The classroom observation will be conducted during a period in which instruction is taking place, and for a duration of time reasonably necessary to observe the adjunct faculty member’s teaching skills and methodologies. The observer will, in the reasonable judgment of the University, have appropriate qualifications to conduct the classroom observation. The adjunct faculty member will receive feedback on the observation within a reasonable period of time after the observation occurs.

  • Education and Specialized Knowledge Preferably secondary school graduation; a good working knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Act and Regulations; a good knowledge of safety rules and regulations as they pertain to the driving and/or operation of the vehicles, equipment and machinery involved; preferably graduation from a defensive driving course and/or a recognized training program in the driving and operation of commercial type vehicle or heavy equipment.

  • CALCULATIONS TO BE MADE BY THIRD PARTY All calculations under this Agreement shall be made annually by an independent third party (the “Third Party”) selected and appointed each year by the District, subject to approval by Applicant in writing, which approval shall not unreasonably be withheld.

  • Information and Services Required of the Owner § 3.1.1 The Owner shall provide information with reasonable promptness, regarding requirements for and limitations on the Project, including a written program which shall set forth the Owner’s objectives, constraints, and criteria, including schedule, space requirements and relationships, flexibility and expandability, special equipment, systems, sustainability and site requirements.

  • INFORMATION AND SERVICES TO BE FURNISHED BY THE LPA The information and services to be furnished by the LPA are set out in Appendix "B” which is herein attached to and made an integral part of this Contract.

  • Promotions Requiring Higher Qualifications Consideration for promotion shall be given to the senior applicant who does not possess the required qualifications but is presently obtaining such qualifications prior to filling the vacancy. At the discretion of the Employer, such an employee may be given a trial period to qualify within a reasonable length of time and will revert to her former position if the required qualifications are not met within such time.

  • VOLUNTEERS AND STUDENT WORKERS The Employer will utilize volunteers and student workers only to the extent they supplement and do not supplant bargaining unit employees. Volunteers and student workers will not supervise bargaining unit employees.

  • Handling Sensitive Personal Information and Breach Notification A. As part of its contract with HHSC Contractor may receive or create sensitive personal information, as section 521.002 of the Business and Commerce Code defines that phrase. Contractor must use appropriate safeguards to protect this sensitive personal information. These safeguards must include maintaining the sensitive personal information in a form that is unusable, unreadable, or indecipherable to unauthorized persons. Contractor may consult the “Guidance to Render Unsecured Protected Health Information Unusable, Unreadable, or Indecipherable to Unauthorized Individuals” issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to determine ways to meet this standard.
