Notification for Sick Leave Use. In order to use sick leave, the employee shall notify his/her immediate supervisor, if available; otherwise advise any supervisor or the library administrative office of said use as soon as practicable but in no case later than one-half (1/2) hour prior to the beginning of the employee’s normal workday. This notice shall be provided daily, unless a physician’s certificate provided to the employer states a specific time period during which return to work would not be possible.
