Nonrenewal Notice. When the District intends not to renew a teacher's contract, the District will give prior written notice of such intent served by personal delivery or by certified mail addressed to the teacher's last known address. Such nonrenewal notice will be dated and contain a clear and concise statement that the teacher's contract will not be renewed, will state the reasons and causes for such action, and will advise the teacher that he or she may request an informal conference with the appropriate School Accountability Services administrator to discuss the matter. Xxxxxxxxxx notices will be delivered or mailed at least two months prior to the end of the contract term of the individual teacher involved.
