Non-Occupational Injuries or Illnesses. 22.2.1 An employee who is temporarily unable to work due to a non-occupational illness or injury will receive those disability benefit payments for which the employee is eligible and applies. To the extent that these benefits are less than the employee’s full regular pay, the employee shall supplement them by using accrued sick leave, vacation, and/or compensatory time to reach the amount equal to the employee’s full regular pay until the employee’s leave balances reach zero, at which time the employee would commence an unpaid leave of absence.
