Common use of Moments of Observance Clause in Contracts

Moments of Observance. Employees will be allowed to observe one minute of silence each April 28th at 11:00 a.m. in recognition of National Day of Mourning for those workers who have died as the result of a work place accident. Employees will be allowed to observe one minute of silence each December 6th at 11:00 a.m. in recognition of Violence Against Women. Employees will be allowed to observe one minute of silence each November 11th at 11:00 a.m. in recognition of Remembrance Day.
