Modified Duty for Pregnancy. However, an employee who is temporarily trans- ferred as a result of pregnancy to a less strenuous or hazardous position or to less strenuous or hazardous duties shall receive the equivalent rate of pay and benefits of the employee’s regular position. The alternative position must be one for which the employee is qualified, and the position must better accom- modate recurring periods of leave than the employee’s regular job.
