Modification to Section 8. 2(a). Section 8.2(a) to the Employment Agreement is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following:
Modification to Section 8. Section 8, Repairs and Maintenance, is hereby modified to add the following new paragraph at the end of such Section: Lessor acknowledges that Lessee is obligated by the FDA to maintain the Leased Premises in accordance with cGMP standards applicable to the processing of human cell therapies for clinical and commercial use in human subjects. These standards include the requirement that all personnel involved in processing or handling of cell therapies for use in humans shall not be exposed to animals, animal waste or animal-derived products or tissues (collectively, “Animal Materials”) within or while in transit to Lessee’s cell processing facility within the Leased Premises. Accordingly, Lessor will notify in writing the heads of all research labs using Animal Materials located in Xxxxxx I of the presence of GMP cleanroom facilities in the building and of the responsibility to comply with the Lessor’s policy on the Transportation of Research Animals which requires that personnel of the Lessor must use freight elevators when transporting animals.
Modification to Section 8. 1.4: Section 8.1.4 is hereby revised, in its entirety, to read as follows:
