Misconduct and Refusal of Duty. (a) The Corporation has the right to suspend an employee for refusal of duty or misconduct and to deduct payment for any day or portion of a day during which the employee is stood down. However, no employee will be suspended without pay before an adequate investigation of the circumstances of the alleged offence has been made. Any decision as to the suspension of the employee will be made by the relevant Executive Manager or the Managing Director.
