Common use of Minimum Pay Clause in Contracts

Minimum Pay. Employees who work less than four (4) hours shall be paid for four (4) hours and if worked more than four (4) hours shall receive pay for the actual time worked unless they are working directly with Cement Masons and they will receive eight (8) hours of pay if worked in excess of four (4) hours. If an employee leaves or quits of his own volition, he/she shall be paid for actual time worked at applicable straight and overtime rates. If a new hire is put to work and judged by the Employer to be unsatisfactory, that person shall be paid only for the actual time worked.
