Planned Overtime In making planned overtime assignments the Employer shall first assign overtime on an equal opportunity basis according to each section’s procedure (Schedule E), as agreed to by the parties. Overtime Meal Allowances (a) An Employee who is required to work a minimum of two and one-half (2½) hours overtime before or after his/her scheduled hours of work, shall be provided with a meal or shall be reimbursed nine dollars ($9.00). A meal break of one-half (½) hour with pay shall be given at the overtime rate. This section shall not apply to an Employee who is on travel status which entitles him/her to claim for lodging and/or meals.
WORKING DUES 6.1 The hourly working dues shall be calculated at two percent (2%) of the Principal Operator hourly wage rate and shall be deducted from each employee covered by this Agreement for each hour for which wages are payable. Holiday Work Employees who work on a holiday shall receive one and one-half (1-1/2) times their straight time regular rate of pay for all hours actually worked on the holiday, plus holiday pay.

Service Core Allowance The company shall pay $0.95 per hour for all work carried out in construction of service core. This allowance will be adjusted annually (effective from 1 June) in accordance with CPI movements (All Groups, Melbourne) for the preceding 12 months to March (increases to be rounded to the nearest 5 cents).
WORK WEEK AND OVERTIME Section 1. The normal work week will consist of forty (40) hours. Department management will establish the work week and hours of work best suited to meet the needs of the Department and provide superior service to the community. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as a guarantee or limitation of the number of hours to be worked per week.
