Common use of Meal and Rest Breaks Clause in Contracts

Meal and Rest Breaks. 9.1 Except when required for urgent or emergency work and except as provided in 9.2 below, no Employee shall be required to work for more than five hours continuously without being entitled to a meal break of not less than half an hour. There will be only one meal break of not less than half an hour during an 8- hour shift.
