Maximum Leave Duration. Generally, the maximum leave duration (paid and unpaid) for a medical related leave of absence will be limited to twelve (12) months. This will include FMLA and any reasonable accommodation under the American’s With Disabilities Act (ADA) because of a serious health condition (See ADA policy). To be considered actively returned to work, the employee must return for at least 10 work days.
